Kurt Faux and Colin Chipman of the Faux Law Group which specializes in surety law, construction law, subrogation and recovery, business litigation and immigration law will be speaking about how to protect your bond, and how to collect on bond claims. Kurt Faux represents sureties in a broad range of disputes, including administrative hearings, arbitrations, and mediations throughout the west. He has worked in surety and construction law for more than 26 years, effectively representing both large and small companies on projects of all sizes. He has extensive experience successfully defending surety bonds with millions of dollars at stake including payment bonds, performance bonds, and other miscellaneous bonds. Colin Chipman focuses his practice in the areas of construction contract disputes and surety law. He provides counsel and legal services to sureties through all phases of payment and performance bonds claims, litigation and recovery. He advises sureties and handles commercial surety claims involving license and permit bonds. Colin also represents private owners, contractors and subcontractors in all stages of commercial and residential construction.
